AOL is discontinuing development on the Netscape Navigator browser this February. Netscape Navigator was the dominant browser in the early 90’s, which lead into the browser wars and ultimately the Anti Trust lawsuit against Microsoft.
Mozilla Firefox, which spun off from Netscape several years ago, has had more success due to its add-on capabilities.
