Google Chrome Leaves Beta
As reported on Sitepoint and many other sites, Google’s new web browser Chrome has left beta status. This is most notable because most Google products live in beta status for extended periods of time, and Chrome has been in beta for a very short period of time. The rumours are Google is working with PC OEMs to have Chrome installed by default on new PCs. So, watch your web traffic stats for this up and coming browser.
FilerCU.com Redesign Launched
Filer Credit Union’s new site launched today. It is based on our SiteControl platform and offers all the user ammenities that go with that such as RSS feeds, news posts, etc, as well as an abundance of administrative features that make it easier to keep the site updated. Special thanks to Deneen for her hard work on the project.
Internet Explorer 8 delayed
Ars Technica has reported that the release of Internet Explorer 8 will be delayed from the end of this year to 2009. Ars references the IE 8 developer blog article indicating the delay and explaining the decision.
