There is some interesting talk about Wings Financial Federal Credit Union’s unsolicited and unwelcome bid to merge with Continental Airlines Federal Credit Union. Seems a little out of character for Credit Unions, especially with the onslaught of mergers, charter changes, and a general shrinking of the playing field. Check out True Story and The Bankwatch.
